Pomodoro App is a focus timer. The app has no account, no advertising and no tracking. This page is part of thynkblox.com. Opened directly, it sets no cookies and loads no analytics; the site’s cookie policy covers the rest of thynkblox.com.

What stays on your phone

Pomodoro App keeps only these things, on your phone:

your focus and break durations
the state of your current session
the number of sessions you have completed

None of it is sent anywhere. The app has no internet permission, so it cannot send data.

Pomodoro App does not switch off Android backup. If Android backup is on for your Google account, these settings and progress are included in that backup, which is encrypted, and we cannot access it.

What is collected or shared

Nothing is collected. Nothing is shared or sold. Pomodoro App contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no marketing tools.

Children

Pomodoro App is not directed at children and collects nothing that identifies anyone.

Permissions

Notifications. Used only to tell you when a focus session or break has finished. Pomodoro App asks when you start a session, not when you install it. If you say no, the timer still works but no alert is shown.
Vibration. Your phone may also list this permission. It is used with the alert.

Pomodoro App needs no exact-alarm permission.

Your rights over your data

Because your details are only ever on your phone, you control them directly.

Change it. You can change your durations any time in Settings.
Delete it. The app has no delete-everything button. To erase everything it stored, clear its storage in Android Settings › Apps, or uninstall the app.

Deleting the app also removes everything it stored.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act

Pomodoro App processes no personal data.

Nomination: you can nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or are unable to act (section 14 of the Act). Write to the address below.
Grievances: write to the address below. We reply within 30 days. If we do not resolve your grievance, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes and the new version is published at the same address before the change takes effect.
